Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 June 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Pallet Brothers Ltd website and the purchase of goods and services from us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

Pallet Brothers Ltd is a New Zealand registered company. All transactions are subject to New Zealand law.

1. Orders & Acceptance

All orders placed through our website or via phone/email are subject to acceptance by Pallet Brothers Ltd. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion. An order is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us.

Minimum order quantities may apply for certain services (e.g. free pallet collection requires a minimum of 100 units). These will be communicated at the time of enquiry.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. GST at the current rate (15%) will be added at checkout or on your invoice.

Payment terms are as agreed at the time of account setup. Overdue accounts may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month on outstanding balances.

3. Delivery

We offer pallet delivery to Auckland, Hamilton, Bay of Plenty, and Christchurch. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or force majeure events.

Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect all goods on receipt and notify us of any damage or shortage within 24 hours.

4. Free Pallet Collection

Our free pallet collection service is subject to a minimum quantity of 100 units and geographic availability. Collections must be scheduled in advance. We reserve the right to refuse collection of pallets that are deemed unsuitable (e.g. contaminated, chemically treated, or structurally unsafe).

5. Product Quality

Our second-hand pallets are inspected and graded before sale. While we take all reasonable care to ensure pallets are fit for purpose, we do not guarantee they are free from all defects. Any warranties are limited to repair or replacement at our discretion.

Heat-treated (HT) pallets supplied by us meet ISPM 15 phytosanitary standards where stated.

6. Returns & Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting us. Once goods have been dispatched, returns are accepted only where products are faulty or not as described. Return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, Pallet Brothers Ltd's liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from the use of our products or services.

Where goods are purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, images, logos, and graphics is the property of Pallet Brothers Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or interfere with the proper functioning of the website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

11. Changes to Terms
